Wellness Warriors is a 6 week course designed to help you make wellness a way of life. There's never been a better time to learn simple diet and lifestyle habits that are foundational for health.

I'll help you learn practical hands-on cooking skills and whole foods recipes. Taking a holistic approach, we'll discuss nutrition, movement, cleansing, rest, and rhythm - all from a biblical perspective weaving together spirit, soul, and body. Hello - I'm Connie Bendickson. My husband, Rich, and I have two twenty-something kids (plus a son-in-law). I see life as an adventure to fully embrace! We've gone from small town Minnesota to suburbia, to hobby farm, and now we're Florida snowbirds. Through every season of life, my heart's desire is to be who God created me to be, do what He designed me to do, and enjoy the life He's given me. And I love to help others do the same!

If you’re curious about credentials, I hold a traditional naturopathy degree from Trinity School of Natural Health and I’m a graduate of the AFMCP® course through the Institute for Functional Medicine. Losing both of my parents to cancer led me to volunteer as a HealingStrong group leader.

Being in the trenches myself, feeding my family whole foods in the midst of a fast-food culture, finding ways to accommodate food sensitivities, and learning to take responsibility for my own health is instrumental in how I support and encourage others on their wellness journey.

Frequently Asked Questions


When does the course start and finish?
Wellness Warriors runs February 5 - March 29, 2024. Six in-person meetings are currently scheduled at 1:00-2:30 pm on Feb 9, 23, March 6, 15, 22, & 29.
Is this on-line or in-person?
Wellness Warriors incorporates the best of both! On-line lessons make it easy to learn when it's convenient for you. And meeting in-person (once a week) fosters community, helps us learn from one another, and gets us hands-on in the kitchen. * For those not local to me, Wellness Warriors can be done 100% online, though I highly recommend gathering locally with a few ladies each week - it's so much better to do this with friends who can support and encourage one another - and more fun too!
When and how long is each daily lesson?
You can do the daily lesson when it works for you. First thing in the morning is ideal, but choose whatever time works best for you. On average, each lesson takes 20-30 minutes/day. (No lessons on Saturday/Sunday so you have time to catch up, if needed.)
How do we communicate during the class?
Wellness Warriors uses a private Facebook group to facilitate discussion and answer questions you may have along the way.
Who is Wellness Warriors for?
Anyone interested in building a solid foundation of health! What age? Perfect for teens on up all the way to the golden years :-)
