Wellness Warriors Teens

Making Wellness a Way of Life

Wellness Warriors Teens is a class designed for high school girls (grades 9-12) who want to learn to live a lifestyle of wellness in spirit, soul, and body. Our meetings include talk time (with hot tea, of course) in the living room learning about the pillars of health (nutrition, movement, cleansing, rest, and rhythm) and how to establish healthy habits in each of these areas.

Because food is foundational to wellness, we spend time in the kitchen each week learning practical hands-on cooking skills and whole foods recipes - and oh, yes - eating!

My desire is that this group of girls will find great joy in sharing this experience together as they encourage and support one another in becoming who God uniquely designed them to be.

If you are a high school girl who has a desire to participate in a unique class that will help you establish wellness as a way of life (I wish I had learned this as a teen!), then I invite you to prayerfully consider joining us for this transformational adventure!

Hello - I'm Connie Bendickson - founder of Square Root Wellness. I help women make simple diet and lifestyle changes that move them toward wellness in spirit, soul, and body.

Following Jesus is a big part of who I am. My heart’s desire is to know Him better each day and align my life with His. Wellness is ultimately about being who God uniquely created you to be, doing what He designed you to do, and enjoying the life He has given you – that’s how we thrive and cultivate a life well-lived!

If you’re curious about credentials, I hold a traditional naturopathy degree from Trinity School of Natural Health and I’m a graduate of the AFMCP® course through the Institute for Functional Medicine. Losing both of my parents to cancer led me to volunteer as a HealingStrong group leader.

Being in the trenches myself, feeding my family whole foods in the midst of a fast-food culture, finding ways to accommodate food sensitivities, and learning to take responsibility for my own health is instrumental in how I support others on their wellness journey.

Are you ready to thrive – not just survive? Sign up for Wellness Warriors and take your next step toward making wellness a way of life!
