Wellness Warriors is a 6 week online course to help you make wellness a way of life. There's never been a better time to learn simple diet and lifestyle changes that are foundational for your health.

I'll help you learn practical hands-on cooking skills and whole foods recipes. Taking a holistic approach, we'll cover nutrition, movement, cleansing, rest, and rhythm - all from a biblical perspective weaving together spirit, soul, and body. Hello - I'm Connie Bendickson - founder of Square Root Wellness. I help women make simple diet and lifestyle changes that move them toward wellness in spirit, soul, and body.

Following Jesus is a big part of who I am. My heart’s desire is to know Him better each day and align my life with His. Wellness is ultimately about being who God uniquely created you to be, doing what He designed you to do, and enjoying the life He has given you – that’s how we thrive and cultivate a life well-lived!

If you’re curious about credentials, I hold a traditional naturopathy degree from Trinity School of Natural Health and I’m a graduate of the AFMCP® course through the Institute for Functional Medicine. Losing both of my parents to cancer led me to volunteer as a HealingStrong group leader.

Being in the trenches myself, feeding my family whole foods in the midst of a fast-food culture, finding ways to accommodate food sensitivities, and learning to take responsibility for my own health is instrumental in how I support others on their wellness journey.

Frequently Asked Questions


When does the course start and finish?
Wellness Warriors is a six week course that begins May 10 - June 18, 2021. There are five lessons each week. Weekends off to catch up, if necessary.
How long do I have access to the course?
After enrolling, you'll have unlimited access for the life of the course - which I hope is a good long time! I want this course to be a resource you can come back to whenever you need it.
When and how long is each daily lesson?
You can do each daily lesson when it works for you. First thing in the morning is ideal, but choose whatever time works best for you to be consistent. On average, each lesson takes 20-30 minutes/day. (No lessons on Saturday/Sunday so you have time to catch up, if needed.)
How do we communicate during the class?
Wellness Warriors uses a private group (not Facebook) to facilitate discussion and questions you may have along the way. I will be LIVE on Tuesdays at 2 pm (CST) and Fridays at 11 am (CST) during the course. Replays are available to watch at your convenience.
Who is Wellness Warriors for?
Anyone interested in building a solid foundation of health! What age? Perfect for teens on up all the way to the golden years :-)
